Default Hypnotic language - continued

Martin,

May be worth breaking this down a bit further, - what sort of states or attitude do you want your top sales people to display? what do you want their mindset to be?

Back from hols in Australia ....

Michael - I want my SRs to maintain their 'focus on success' but reduce their 'personal interest dominance' and increase their 'working for the team' when I ask.

P.S. Still working with the Salad cards on Hypnotic Influence - very good for rehearsing and checking the best way of putting something.

Also bought the audio download of Salad's Secrets of Hypnosis. Listened to it on my iPod on hols but fell asleep a lot - was this the jet-lag or the abundance of hypnotic language?

I think they're good but you have to stop and practice ... but have no willing subjects!

Martin,

Using hypnotic language to help your SR's to 'focus on success' or even 'focus on more success' seems a great objective for hypnotic language......

I'd also suggest you read 'Yes! 50 secrets from the science of persuasion' by Noah J. Goldstein PhD, Steve J. Martin and Robert B. Cialdini PhD.

NLP Experts - Books - Yes! 50 Secrets from the Science of Persuasion

It builds on Roberts Cialdini original influence book which lists six universal principles of social influence: reciprocation, authority, commitment/consistency, scarcity, liking and social proof.

The book comes up with 50 tips based on research related to these principles. Although they're fairly basic they're a must read for anyone in sales and marketing.

And supports a lot of what we already know from NLP.

I often use the Zebu Cards to create Metaphors, not only as patterns.
