Over the next 12 months I'm going to develop a series of MP3/pdf downloads. As part of that I'm going to be experimenting with a number of different approaches to trance inductions, as well different recording approaches - and some of them I'll post here.
The first is a very simple relaxation/softening induction which lasts a bit longer than 15 minutes. If you listen to it, as well as relaxing slightly you may find yourself unlocking some of your unconscious abilities.....

Relaxation transcript
I'm delighted to welcome you to this relaxing fifteen minutes - recording.
Just by listening to it in the right way - without really putting any effort into it at all, you will reach that level of relaxation that's right for you - not only to relax, not only to recuperate. not only to feel really good but also to unlock some of those resources that you have that you may be aware of but you haven:t yet been in fully-full contact with yet.
So I just want you to either sit or lie.Just maybe give yourself a stretch. So you get into that position where you will find it easy - to relax and soften.
Maybe you just want to stretch your shoulders - move your shoulders a little bit. maybe you want to move your back - Maybe you want to just move your toes a little bit, just stretch your toes.Just now move into that position that you know at some level, will enable you to really relax and soften.
I want you to start by listening to my voice, just be drawn by my voice, be lead by my voice again to that place where you will really relax in that comfort -and notice that from time to time I will - pause - and every time that you notice that I pause - I just want you to use that as an excuse - without any -effort at all - just to start relaxing - just to start getting comfortable
Just to really - let go - and enjoy the next few minutes -relaxing - and softening - and getting in touch with those abilities that you already have - that will help you to achieve those things that are important to you - now I'd like for you to become aware - of the weight - and the sensations of your feet - just focus all of your attention -on the sensations of your feet - and as you become aware of those sensations
just let the rest of your body relax, start to relax - start to relax a lot - just while you're aware of the sensations of your feet - maybe you can feel there temperature - maybe you can feel a mild tingling - whatever you feel - just let that be a sign - to start the relaxation process
And go back to the sound of my voice - remembering every time - you notice that I pause - you can build on that sense of relaxation - and build on it in such a way that it requires - no effort - at all.
Now if your eyes are open, I'd like you to close them - and if your eyes are closed - just be aware of the - weight - of your eyelids - and as you're aware of the weight of your eyelids - in any way that you:re able to do it.
I want you to imagine a drop of water -on a leaf.
That's right - in any way that works for you, just imagine a drop of water of a leaf - and imagine that you can see that drop of water and notice its purity - and notice maybe a little glisten - from the inside out - but notice how strong that drop of water is - and be aware of the leaf - be aware of how soft this leaf is - be aware of how soft - and yet how strong -this leaf is
And maybe you catch a ray of light from the drop of water - onto the leaf - now come back to the feelings in your feet - and just let that drift up to your calves - and just for a moment, really let your calves soften - and relax - pay all your attention to your calves - softening and relaxing - and as your calves soften and relax.
Just let out all of the effort from the - rest of your body - relax too - Now be aware of your -knees. Let your knees really relax - and your thighs - and your stomach - let any tension that you had in your stomach - just let it go -and let yourself breath in and breath out.
Whichever way you're breathing - just let that - add to that feeling of relaxation - and any tension that you had in your shoulders - just let that go - and feel the surface tension on your leg - and be aware of the surface tension in your face - any tension that you have had -just let it go -until.
Let go of your head - just feel a sense of relaxation - in your head - just enjoy that sensation - and maybe you can listen to the sounds in the room - maybe you can hear a humming - maybe you can hear a breathing - but this time, whatever you hear, let that relax you further - any sound - that maybe in the past would have woken you up
Let any sound just let you - go down - to that state - and as I've said before, it's exactly right for you to achieve - whatever it is you want to achieve - from no effort at all.
Now I want you to imagine in your minds eye that you can see a mountain, and maybe the top of the mountain is covered in snow and maybe at the top of the mountain there are winds and there are hail - and the rough storms - and be aware of the centre of that mountain -its absolutely solid its absolutely strong, with the strength of ages -and as well as being strong and solid, there is the wisdom of the ages.
Just being there - and whatever the weather is like on the outside - there's that strength, that knowledge - that power, on the inside - now go back to the weight - and the feelings of relaxation of your feet and your toes - and just imagine that is a gentle wave, raising through your body - as that wave gently brushes against your body.
You can feel that relaxation rise - through your stomach - your chest -your neck to the top of your head -as it comes to the top of the head let it just come out - and in a way that means something to you, just start again at the feet -and let that relaxation - continue -to roll up your body, past your shoulders - to your head.
Relaxing easily and comfortably - anything it touches - and again, your toes and your feet - to your knees - to your stomach - to your chest - and let it rise up - and as you're aware of those sensations of relaxation in your body - just enjoy doing these things in reverse.
And as it goes to your toes - let that wave - at exactly the right time for you - come to the top of your head again - and drift down - every sinew, every cell it touches. Just relaxing, just softening - softening in a way that's special for you - that will enable you to accomplish those things that are important to you.
I want you to focus again on that drop of water on a leaf, and just as you focus on that drop of water on a leaf - i want you to - just deep and easily - easily deepen - relaxing down - down, relaxing. Softening more - more softening. Enjoyably relaxing - relaxing enjoyably.
Deeper down - down deeper
Comfortably relaxing - Relaxing comfortably
Feeling good - good feeling
Feeling special - special feeling
Deeper down - down deeper
Easily relaxing - relaxing easily
And as you get to this relaxed state - I want you to realise that something very special is happening - something that is very special that is happening - that will help you -reach those qualities that you have - that will enable you to easily and comfortably - achieve whatever it is that you want to achieve.
And there is something curious about being in this state - because in a way you can enjoy being on your own - and you can really enjoy being with people - but whats really nice is to know that you can really enjoy being alone - and being with people - at the same time.
And you can think logically - and you can think intuitively -and whats really nice to know is that you can think intuitively - and logically - at exactly the same time.
And you can enjoy being sensitive - and you can enjoy being powerful - but whats really nice to kn is that you can enjoy being sensible - and you can enjoy being powerful - at exactly the same time.
And I want you to become aware of some of those pleasant and positive suggestions - within - and I want you to become aware of some of those pleasant and positive feelings within - and become more aware that just by listening to a voice - just by sitting or lying in this relaxed way - all of those things that are important are working their own way right out -
In exactly the right way or you.
And it's nice to know that sometimes you'll achieve want you want by taking action - and curiously enough, the more you relax - the more you'll find it easy at the right time to take the action that you need - and the more you find it easy to take the action that you need - the more of the right time...
You'll find it easy to soften - and relax - and just spend some moments - enjoying that feeling of relaxation - and just being aware the more that you practice without effort. The more you'll relax -the more you'll find it easier to go deeper into the state that's exactly right for you the next time you do it.
So just be aware of those feelings and sensations just be aware of those pictures or those images that can help relax and soften - maybe you're aware of some sounds - those sounds that as you listen to them - as you think about them - easily and comfortably help you relax.
Now I want you to thank yourself for the time that you've taken - because in taking that time -to relax and soften - to relax and soften - you're helping yourself to become stronger - and relaxed - and the more you help yourself become relaxed - the more you help yourself become strong - there are more resources that you're freeing.
To help yourself - there are more resources you free to help yourself - you'll help those people that are around - so just take a few seconds to thank yourself - for taking the time to make yourself stronger - and give yourself extra resources - to help both you and the people around you - now I want you to - either stay relaxed deeper and deeper.
Or if its alright for you to come back to the room - when at the right level you have learned, either consciously or unconsciously - something important to you, that is going to help you get to where you want to go - and it maynot be something that you'll remember now.
It may come to you in the next hours - or days - or even weeks. But only come to the room when at some level you have remember whats important to you. And only come back when you're ready to have a really good rest - of the day.
